March 1 β HYROX Houston Simulation
Two weeks out from race day, I always like to run a full HYROX simulation. Itβs been key in helping me gauge exactly where Iβm atβmentally and physicallyβbefore race day. It also gives me a chance to test the gear and shoes Iβll be racing in so I can dial in what feels best on both the runs and the stations.
February 25 β Hyrox Turf Workout at The Yard
During one of my HYROX training sessions at The Yard in Arvada, I tackled a turf-based workout that included an all-out 500m sprint on the SkiErg. The mix of turf and rig training pushed my endurance and power, replicating the demands of race day. These sessions are a reminder that the best way to get comfortable with discomfort is to lean into it.

January 23 β HYROX All-Women Simulation
For my first-ever all-women Hyrox simulation, I trained at Arsenal Health & Fitness in Arvada, where 40 women showed up to train for Hyroxβeither as solos or doubles. The energy was unreal! Thereβs something powerful about creating a space where women can push their limits without distractions (looking at you, beefy gym bros). Seeing this community come together for a brutal workout was inspiring.
January 18 β Strength Training at Kula Performance
At Kula Performance in Centennial, I focused on the strength-based portion of my training with Club Aion, a hybrid training program. Every heavy lift starts with dynamic warm-upsβbecause you can only squat heavy if youβre not tight as a board. Prioritizing mobility before loading up the bar has been a game-changer in my performance.
